What to Expect at a ComedySportz® Show

Two teams of comedians compete for laughter and points, MC'd by a referee, playing improvised short form games that demonstrate characters, actions, narratives, and challenging attributes designed to elicit chaotic, hilarious choices by the improvisors.

The pace of the show, called a "match" is conducted by the referee, who wears a striped referee jersey and who sports a whistle, a penalty flag, and a stopwatch.

An announcer/sound/video producer keeps and displays team scores as well as game-introduction jingles and graphics. Optionally, a musician, for musical games accompaniment.
